1. How do I Get Music?
Make sure you’re in our Customer Contact List, Give us your personal or valid mailing address “we only send you the info/material you need” (in EX) “only the material you need” all formats are mp3 on your computer.

2. Can I download a beat from this website just for listening or freestyling?
Yes, but beats downloaded from this site can only be used for small-nonprofit and noncommercial purposes, you can not make any profit using our beats unless you first purchase a license. Acceptable nonprofit and noncommercial formats include recording a song over one of our beats and posting the song on your personal web site or a community page (i.e. Facebook, Myspace, etc.) for free download, burning CD’s for friends and family, putting out a demo or mixtape on a limited basis (10 copy limit) to hand out for free. Anything that seems commercial, profitable, or large-scale to you is NOT acceptable. If you use one of our beats you must remember to give credit to Akimo Productions and provide a link to our website.

*Beats downloaded from this site are in lower quality MP3 format, contain vocals tags, and are limited to non-profit use. To get clear, professional WAV file quality without any vocal tags and to use the beat for profitable use, you need to Buy A License.

4. What are the differences between the licensing options?
With a Basic License you are allowed to make one master recording for profitable commercial purposes and you can sell that recording for up to two hundred (200) copies through a profitable medium (i.e. LP, EP, mixtapes, internet paid downloads), radio play with your recording on one (1) radio station ($1,000 allowed profit from publishing royalties), one (1) video synchronization with your recording or the beat (100 distributed copies and $1,000 profit allowed), and two thousand ($2,000) dollars in allowed profit through live shows/performances.

With a Premium License you are allowed to make one master recording for profitable commercial purposes and you can sell that recording for up to one thousand (1,000) copies through a profitable medium (i.e. LP, EP, mixtapes, internet paid downloads), radio play with your recording on six (6) radio stations ($5,000 allowed profit from publishing royalties), three (3) video synchronizations with your recording or the beat (400 distributed copies and $2,000 profit allowed), and ten thousand ($10,000) dollars in allowed profit through live shows/performances.

With a Silver or Gold License you are allowed three thousand (3,000) Copy distribution, as much earnings as you can get and display all in one. (1) video medium such as a television show, television commercial, website, movie (i.e. Youtube Partner program), or video game using the beat itself as the soundtrack/background music. The difference between Silver and Gold is we take %25 Commision and give you %15 Off in Store with Silver Membership, We only take %15 Commision and Give you %25 off in Store with Gold Membership

With Full Rights License you can make multiple master recordings for all profitable commercial or broadcast purposes, there are no limitations except that you cannot re-sell the beat. Exclusive rights also guarantees that the beat will no longer be sold or offered for download to anyone else.

6. Are vocal tags removed after I purchase a beat?

Yes, all vocal tags are removed from the .wav file once you’ve purchased a license.

7. Do you offer discounts if I purchase in bulk?
For custom bulk purchases in excess of $1000 - $3000 please Contact Us.

9. What if someone buys out the (Full Rights License) after I already purchased a license?
As long as you licensed your beat before the Exclusive Rights were sold, all your rights remain intact as described in your contract.

10. Can I buy the Full Rights License later if I purchased a licensed first?
If Exclusive Rights have not already been sold then yes, you can upgrade your license to an Exclusive Rights contract and you will only be charged the difference in price.

11. Instead of a beat from your website, I want a beat no one has heard, I want it to be made just for me like I want it, is this possible?
Yes, Custom beats can be made just for you. Your Custom beat is never released on our website, never licensed or sold, and never heard by anyone until you have released your album. Prices start at $55 - $1000+ per Custom beat.

Custom beats will be tailored to your exact description and details given to us, once we have received your description, we will work on your beat and e-mail you a 128kbps Mp3 sample of your beat within 7-30 days. Once the beat is agreed on and full payment is received, we will mail you the beat tracked out in .Mp4 or Mp3 file format and an official Akimo Productions Exclusive Rights contract granting you full 100% rights to your Custom beat.
